An extravagant invitation was created for the wedding of Lauren Book and Kris Lim.  A solid wood dupioni silk wrapped base layer held the large crystal rose brooch in place. Followed up by several layers of shimmer cardstock and satin ribbon.  The invitation ensemble sat in a box made of dupioni silk with and embroidered monogram. The entire ensemble was mailed to guests in a custom made Box-elope made to fit the dupioni silk box.
